Greenwood Locals (14 May 1964)
The Methodist Youth Fellowship of Grace Church met Sunday evening at the Alvin Schultz home. Sherri Barkly and James Bartelt were welcomed as new members. The group discussed meetings to be held during the summer. The lesson on "Morality" was presented by Sam Wuethrich. Following the meeting, refreshments were served by Mrs. Schultz. The next meeting will be held May 17 at the Allen Wuethrich home.
Mr. and Mrs. Claude Catlin have returned after spending three months in San Diego, Calif., with their children, William Catlin and Mrs. Ivan Blaettler, and their families.
Mrs. Kathryn Ivey spent from Wednesday until Sunday in Sun Prairie with her son, V. James Ivey, and his family.
Mrs. Myrtie Berrett of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie were entertained Sunday at the Verland Berrett home in Spencer. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Emory Voie and daughters, Karla and Mary, of Fond du Lac.
Mrs. Lee Corey was admitted Monday evening to the hospital in Marshfield. Her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Corey of Huron, S.D., arrived Monday evening for a week’s visit here and with his brother, Gary Corey, in Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Emil Noah spent from Saturday until Monday evening in Oregon, at the home of their son, Herbert, and his family. Sunday, they were present for the first communion of their granddaughter, Gwenda Noah, in (missing words).
