Mrs. Manfred Cain was hostess to Fidelity Camp, R. N. A. Wednesday evening at her home. A discussion of the county convention in June in Marshfield was part of the business meeting. A social time followed.
Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Okray of Madison were weekend guests of Perle and Daphne Beeckler.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Trimberger and family, former residents of this area now living in Antigo, have purchased a new home there and are moving into it this weekend. Mr. Trimberger is serving as probation officer.
The Granton Public Schools will close at noon today (Thursday). All elementary students will be in attendance in the forenoon. The senior class and band members will begin practice for graduation at 9 a.m. A noon meal will be served and buses will leave the school at 12:30 noon. Commencement exercises will be held this (Thursday) evening.
Misses Pearle and Daphne Beeckler and Mrs. Ethel Berg visited Sunday afternoon and were supper guests of Mrs. Jessie Beeckler of Neillsville.
