Stamcar, Rose (15 October 1883 - 31 May 1964)
Double funeral services, for a mother and her son, will be held from Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard at 10 a.m. today (Thursday). In charge of the services will be the Rev. William Nikolai. Burial will be made in Holy Family Cemetery.
The mother, Mrs. Joseph Stamcar, 80, of Willard, died at her home Sunday. Her son, Anton George Stamcar, 51, also of Willard, died Monday in Marshfield, where he had been taken Sunday to undergo surgery.
Mrs. Stamcar succumbed following a long illness. She was born October 15, 1883, in Yugoslavia. Her maiden name was Rose Krasovich. She was married in 1905 in Milwaukee to Joseph Stamcar. They lived in Milwaukee, then in California, for shorts periods before coming to Willard in 1914.
Mrs. Stamcar was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and of the American-Slovenian Catholic Union.
Surviving are three daughters and two sons: Mrs. Anton (Mary) Dragon of Sheboygan, Mrs. Frank (Anna) Brazonick of Milwaukee, Rose, at home; Joseph of Sheboygan; and john, at home. Eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.
Her son, Anton Stamcar was born June 9, 1912, in West Allis. At the age of two years he came to Willard with his parents, and had resided on the home farm since.
