Riemer, Child (Swallowed poison - AUG 1913)
The two-year old child of Mr. and Mrs. August Riemer of the town of Lynn was saved from death only through the prompt arrival of Dr. Ross last Friday afternoon. The little tot was left alone in her buggy for a few minutes, but without the knowledge of its mother was within reach of a bottle of Paris Green. Upon return of the latter it was discovered that the child had swallowed some of the poison and upon the arrival of the physician a stomach pump was made use of and thus the little one’s life was saved.
