Miss Louise Wagner came over from Marshfield Saturday and made a weekend visit at the Otto Neitzel home.

 

Miss Lila Hanson of Strum is a guest of Mrs. Eugene Crandall.

 

Prof. G.D. Vincent went to Edgar Tuesday.

 

P.J. Kemmeter and family autoed to Humbird Sunday and Visited Dr. and Mrs. Schwarz and returned home on Monday.

 

Emil Hintz of Eau Claire, a brother of Mrs. Fred Zille, is here visiting her since Monday.

 

Mrs. W.M. Zille, after a three week visit with her son Fred Zille, went home to Fond du Lac on Monday.

 

Little Raymond Paulson is very sick with measles and whooping cough since Saturday, and they are fearful that he may have pneumonia.

 

G.A. Wiersinski of Spokane, Wash., visited relatives here late last week and continued on to Marshfield Sunday, leaving that city homeward bound on Monday.

 

Henry Williams went to Grand Rapids on Saturday.

 

Sheriff Harry Hewett was here on official business on Monday.

 

Miss Mamie Lutz of Marshfield spent Sunday here with friends.

 

Max Neverman and son are here from Neillsville lathing the G.E. Amidon building since Monday.

 

Chas. Wilke left for Mankato, Minn. Saturday on a week’s vacation and visit among friends.

 

Clifton Paulson has the measles since last week Friday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Sherman of Nasonville came over Saturday and made an over Sunday visit at the John Breese home, leaving for Grand Rapids, their new home, on Monday.

 

Miss Mary Schune was home from Neillsville on an over Sunday visit.

 

Miss Alice Brussock of Milwaukee, after a  week visit at her cousin Emil Riedel’s, returned to the city Saturday.

 

Mrs. Mahlke and daughter Pearl of Madison are here visiting at the W.D. Rose home since Sunday.  Mrs. Mahlke and Mrs. Rose are sisters.

 

Mrs. John Winter and daughter Tillie of St. Lucas, Iowa, are visiting at Wm. Boushke’s on the Mike Hubing farm since Saturday.

 

Mrs. John Wright and daughter Louise of DeKalb, Ill., are visiting the Fred Wright and Elmer Dennis families here since Saturday.

 

Mrs. Hattie Beeckler is home from her trip to Milwaukee and Waldo since Saturday.

 

Mrs. Wm. Free, after a several days visit between the C.E. and Geo. Brooks homes, returned to Neillsville on Saturday.

 

Mrs. Anont Unger, Mrs. W.H. Lautenbach and baby, with Miss Luatenbach, came over from Neillsville on Saturday and visited among town friends.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Kuechenmeister arrived home on Saturday from their Michigan and state points visit.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Bollom and son Ellsworth of Osseo came Saturday for a visit at the Fred Hart home.

 

Mrs. Chas. Lowe and daughter Beatrice of Duluth, Minn., after a two week visit at the Emil Lockman home, returned to the city on Saturday.

 

Mrs. Phillip Lowery and 5 children were summoned home to Fifield Saturday in response to news that Mr. Lowery had suffered an injury through being kicked by a horse he was shoeing.

 

Harley Tisdale and little son Carlyle, after a 3 week visit between J.B. Daughhetee’s and Loyal relatives, returned to Muscoda on Saturday.  Mrs. Tisdale and the three other children remained for a more extended visit.

 

Harry Eisenhart has accepted a position on one of Babler’s farms near Humbird, and with his family left for their new home there, yesterday.

 

Dan Rausch autoed to Withee one day last week with Mr. and Mrs. Mike Dorst and their guests, the Dewey’s, and spent the day at the O.L. Atkin home.  The Dewey, Dorst and Atkin ladies are sisters.

 

Merton Davis, after helping his brother-in-law, W.E. Benedict with his haying and harvesting, returned home to Marshfield on Monday.

 

Miss Anna Kelpin, a professional nurse from the Montgomery hospital at Eau Claire, after a 2 week visit at home, returned to her duties there Monday.  Otto Kelpin, her brother, returned with her for further treatment.

 

Vincent Palmer, a tracing clerk for the Grand Trunk railway, after a week’s visit here with his father, returned to his work at Chicago, on Sunday.  His brother Glen, who was going to Sycamore, Ill., to join his mother and attend school there this year, accompanied him from here.

 

Rev. Wolff announces that owing to his having been called to B.R. Falls to assist at a series of tent meetings, there will be no services in the Union Church this Sunday.  He expects to be here and hold services a week from Sunday.
