Fred Handke is cementing and finishing the basement to his new barn this week.
Oscar and Frank Jahr were called to Neillsville Sunday by the sudden illness of their mother, but left her much improved Sunday evening.
Miss Anna Gardner spent Tuesday afternoon with Hattie Schultz.
Noble Downer bought the Leo Chapel farm last week. Mr. Chapel is retaining the personal property.
C. Brooks raised his barn Friday and L. Smith’s was raised Saturday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lee took in the Marshfield fair Wednesday.
Mrs. Dale Lee is improving under the care of Dr. Rath.
The Misses Marian Smith and Natalie Wilber left for Packwaukee on Tuesday morning. The former, after a short visit there, will return to Milwaukee to resume her training at Trinity Hospital. Miss Natalie will finish high school at Westfield.
Mrs. Wright and children of Sycamore, Ill., are visiting with her brother Elmer Dennis.
