  Schuette, Janice Kay  (19 June 1951 - 3 Feb. 1959)

Janice Kay Schuette, 7 of Loyal, route1, died at a hospital in Chippewa Falls at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, after an illness of a week.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, South Green Grove and burial was in the parish cemetery.  The Rev. Howard Timmermann officiated at the services.

Pallbearers were Willard Becherer, Orville Schuette, Calvin Schultz, and Paul Schlinsog.

The Soloist, Mrs. Vernon Boss, sang the hymns, "Tender Shepherd Thou Hast Stilled" and "Abide with me" accompanied by Mrs. Howard Timmermann.

Coming from away to attend the funeral were Raymond and Melvin Ihlenfeldt, Elmand Dahlke and Merlin Prahl, Luxemburg; Mrs. Henry Dahlke, Mrs. William Kickbusch, John Karlinchock and Mrs. Kudek, Boyd; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schuette, Neenah; and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schuette, Stockbridge and friends and relatives from Thorp, Abbotsford, Colby, Loyal, and Unity.

Janice Kay was born in Marshfield June 19, 1951.  She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Schuette; as sister, Shirley and a brother, Charles; a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Alvina Miller, Abbotsford; and a paternal grandfather, Hugo Schuette, Unity.
