Meacham, Violet (5 May1919 - 29 Jan. 1959)
Mrs. Vernon Meacham, 39 died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, at ll:45 p.m. Jan. 29 after an illness of six months.
Violet Kyne was born in London, England, May 16, 1919. She came to America in 1947 and was married to Vernon Meacham Dec. 31, 1947 at Neillsville.
After marriage the couple moved to a farm in the town of Unity and lived there for eight years when they moved to the city of Loyal.
She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Christine, Cherry and Denise, and by three sons, Lee, Lynn and Dana.
Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kyne of Hemel Hempstead, England and three sisters and four brothers, all of England, also survive.
Funeral services were held at the Myre Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial was in the Loyal Cemetery.
Mr. Lloyd Domres, minister associated with Marshfield Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiated at the funeral of Mrs. Vernon Meacham.
Pallbearers were Roscoe Meacham, Lester Bruesewitz, Walter Hohl, John Bredlau, Duane Barker, and Lon Wolfe.
