Bieneck, Marie (15 November 1892 - 27 June 1964)
Funeral services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Marie Bieneck, 71, of Rt. 3 Neillsville, who died Saturday in Neillsville. The Rev. William Nikolai of Willard officiated at services from St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Bieneck, the former Marie Haas, was born November 15, 1892, in Neillsville and lived her entire life in the community. Her parents were the late Lawrence and Mary (Ardts) Haas. Her marriage to Ernest Bieneck took place February 14, 1912, in St. Paul, Minn. He died in 1963.
The Parish Council of Catholic Women held a rosary Monday afternoon at the Georgas Funeral Home. A general rosary service was said Monday evening. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and its Parish Council of Catholic Women (PCCW).
Mrs. Bieneck is survived by three children, Mrs. Paul (Leona) Ehlers, Paul Bieneck, and Mrs. Charles (Lillian) Diers, Jr., all of Neillsville; two sisters, Sister M. Laurine of La Crosse, and Mrs. J. C. (Katherine) Wheeler of St. Paul, Minn.; and by three brothers, Bernard and Joe Haas of Neillsville, and Martin Haas of Phoenix, Ariz. Other survivors are 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: George May, Harold Prock, Byno Lloyd, Tony Erpenbach, Walter Aumann and Everett P. Skroch.
People from out of town attending were: Sister M. Laurine of La Crosse; Mrs. May Haas of Jefferson; Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bieneck of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Wheeler and Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Wheeler of St. Paul, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Ehlers of Green Bay; Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Ehlers of Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Heise of Janesville; Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Jung of Ft. Atkinson; and Mr. and Mrs. James Johnsrude of La Crosse.
