Schaefer, Lorin A. (1 JUN 1952 - 21 JAN 2012)

Lorin A. Schaefer, 59, of Medford, died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at the Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford. 

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at the Peace United Church of Christ in Dorchester with the Rev. Bonnie Jacque-Gorecki officiating. 

Burial will be in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery, Dorchester. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the church in Dorchester. 

Lorin was born June 1, 1952, in Medford to Louis and Clara (Albers) Schaefer. He attended a special school for the disabled in Medford until eighth grade. He then worked for Black River Industries in Medford before working at Hardees in Medford for 35 years, until he became ill. 

He enjoyed listening to radio and watching television, especially family shows. 

Lorin is lovingly survived by his sister and brothers, Carol Schaefer of Medford, Clyde Schaefer of Medford and Larry Schaefer of California. 

Lorin was preceded in death by his parents. 

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Dorchester is assisting the family with arrangements.
