Jo
Seefeld, 82, of Riplinger, passed away surrounded by her family on
Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in
Marshfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, at
Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home in Spencer with the Rev. Michael
Herdt officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral
home.
Jo was born on Feb. 26, 1929, the daughter of Lambert and Christine
Conraad in Kimberly. She was united in marriage to Dale Seefeld on
Sept. 11, 1948. Jo received a Certified Nursing Assistant's
certificate and worked at Colonial Nursing Home in Colby for many
years.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word-find puzzles, puzzles and
scratch-offs. Jo was a loving mother to many
people.
Jo is survived by her husband, Dale; seven children, Doug (Barb),
Spencer, Barb (Darrel) Elpert, Unity, Bruce, Spencer, Deb (Micheal)
Coverston, Hazelhurst, Barry, Bensenville, Ill., Ken, Unity, Brad
"Yogi," Unity and Rhonda Albrecht, Withee; a daughter-in-law, Kris
Seefeld, Unity; 26 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one
step-great-great-grandchild. She is further survived by seven
brothers and sisters, Wilma Weyeberg, Marty Conraad, Roy (Theresa)
Vanden Heavel, Chris Conraad, Geri Fakankrug, Ester Gilbertson and
Alice Subert.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lambert and Christine;
her son, Jeffrey; and two sisters, Harriet and Gertrude.
