Pleasant Ridge 4-H Club (2 July 1964)
The Pleasant Ridge 4-H club held a meeting at the Grant Town hall June 25. Pres. Larry Thiede called the meeting to order. Kathy Seefeldt led in the flag pledges.
Jack Seefeldt handed out fair entry blanks and explained how to fill them out. Anyone who is going to give a demonstration in Neillsville on July 7 must have their applications in by July 1. July 9 will be hall clean up at the Grant Town hall. All members should attend. There will be a general meeting at 1 p.m. and members are to have fair entries ready to hand in.
The Junior Leaders decided to call themselves the "Teen J’s". The group includes any member 14 and older. The next "Teen J’s" meeting will be held today, July 2, at the Grant Town hall at 8 p.m. The Pleasant Ridge 4-H club did very nicely at the summer festival in Neillsville. Our two floats won first and fourth prizes.
