Hass, Sharon Rae (Marriage - 27 June 1964)
Nuptial vows were exchanged June 27 by Miss Sharon Rae Hass of Altoona, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Hass of Merrillan, and Robert V. Radisewitz of Altoona. The Rev. Fr. Sargot officiated at a nuptial mass in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Altoona.
Approaching the altar with her father who gave her in marriage, the bride was attired in a floor-length gown of silk organza and lace. Sequins studded the lace effect. A waterfall veil cascaded from a double crown of pearls and sequins. She carried a bridal bouquet of American Beauty roses and white stephanotis, entwined with ivy.
Mrs. Lawrence Radisewitz, matron of honor, wore a floor length gown of blue organza and lace, styled with short sleeves. Elbow length gloves and white accessories completed her attire.
Bridesmaids were Joanne Hass, sister of the bride, who was attired in a yellow gown; and Karen Messerschmidt, who wore pink. The attendants’ headpieces were giant roses with blush veils which matched the color of their dresses. They carried cascade bouquets of roses and carnations with ivy.
Lawrence Radisewitz was bestman. Groomsmen were Daniel Radisewitz and Tom Steuding. Ushers were Tom Larson and Dick Kirstein.
Following their return from a wedding trip to Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Radisewitz will reside at 920 Oxford Ave,, Altoona.
