Frank Bender went to Marshfield on Monday.
Miss Bertha Hillert had dental work done at Neillsville Monday.
Prinicipal Max Geimer with his wife and baby returned home last week Thursday.
Little Leona Gluch and Frances Glass of Neillsville were weekend guests at the Dan Gluch Jr. home.
Mrs. Fred Handke spent Monday with the Rob Kurth family at Neillsville.
Miss Elsie J. Nygaard of Oshkosh is a guest in the Henry Sternitzky home since Saturday.
Miss Marguerite Tiede left for Woodville, Ohio Tuesday to resume her studies in the seminary there.
Arthur Darton and family, and Wm. Wilson and family, autoed down from Loyal and spent Sunday at Mrs. Mary Marsh’s.

Max Opelt, his son Carl and Arthur, Joseph and Gilbert Sternitzky went to St. Paul Wednesday to attend the Minnesota State Fair.
Mrs. Chas. Bass and daughters went to Marshfield Tuesday to consult an oculist in regard to Anita’s eyes.
Prof. Vincent and Roy Hart went to Edgar Tuesday.
Vernon and Milton Huntley made a business trip to Marshfield Tuesday.
Miss Elva Thayer was a Neillsville caller on Tuesday.
Miss Edna Kemmeter is home from Milwaukee since Tuesday.
Walter Coil of Spencer transacted business here Monday.
Miss Emma Schune returned to Milwaukee Saturday.
Chas. Wilke came home Saturday from Mankato, Minn.
The Misses Ruby and Gertrude Martin went to Clintonville Tuesday to visit relatives.
Ira McIntyre of Neillsville visited old friends here on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Schune were weekend guests of her relatives at Neillsville.
M. Blumenstein of Loyal autoed over Saturday with his wife who took the evening train for St. Paul.

Fred Zille has rented the Frank Kauffman farm and will take possession on Oct. 1st.
Miss Hazel Brooks went to Minneapolis Friday to resume her duties as teacher in that city’s public schools.
Mrs. John Rausch came home Friday from her visit among friends at Marshfield.
Miss Ruth Pietenpol went to Marshfield for medical treatment between trains on Saturday.
Fisk Lee went to Ft. Atkinson on business on Tuesday.
Mrs. Mathilda Cole, after a visit here with her parents, left for Chicago and Toledo on Tuesday.
Mrs. Harley Teasdale and little baby, after a several days visit at J.B. Daughetee’s left for her home at Madison on Tuesday.
Miss Esther Etta of Loyal is visiting Miss Edna Kemmeter since Tuesday.
Mrs. F.E. Green and daughters Lucille and Effie from Great Falls, Mont., arrived here Tuesday on a several days visit at Louis Hayden’s.
Mrs. Eugene Crandall and children, and Miss Henson of Strum, who was visiting her, spent several days early this week at Neillsville.
Mrs. Oscar Anding accompanied her son-in-law, Sherman Gress, home to Neillsville Saturday evening and made a several days visit.
Leonard Cole came up from Stevens Point Saturday and made an over Sunday visit with relatives before leaving for his new work at Nesaba, Minn., where he went Monday.
The Rondorf family in York is entertaining friends from La Crosse since last Saturday.
John Ewing and daughter Agnes came up from Waukesha last week Wednesday and made an over Sunday visit at the E.R. Wonser home.
Mrs. Walter Graves and her 5 children went to Fond du Lac Monday on a couple of weeks visit among old friends.
The Misses Maryette and Lavina Conger of Fond du Lac County, after a twelve day visit with the Arthur Phipps family, returned home on Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. John Eden of Edgar came Saturday and made an over Sunday visit between the Conrad Jacobi and Wm. Eden home.
Mrs. Albert Rindfleisch and her 3 children, and Mrs. Fred Schwantes of Spencer were weekend guests of the Fred Schwantes family at Kurth corners.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schaar of New Holstein, a newly wedded couple, were over Sunday guests of the Wm. Eden family. Mrs. Schaar is a niece of Mr. Eden’s.
Miss Hattie Scholtz, who is employed at the Free Converse home, spent Sunday with relatives at Nasonville.
Mrs. Mahlka and daughter Pearl, after an 8 day visit at the W.D. Rose home, returned home to Madison on Monday.
Mrs. W.E. Benedict and her 3 children drive in from York Monday and took the train for Marshfield on a visit at the Jerry Davis home.
Postmaster M.M. Tompkins went to Merrillan Saturday evening and met Mrs. Tompkins who was returning home after a week’s visit at Rice Lake.
P.J. Kemmeter and family autoed to Stratford Sunday and spent the day with relatives.
Miss Lucy Brown of Athens was a guest at the Geo. Beaver home several days last week.
Miss Laura Nietzel went to Marshfield Saturday for a short visit with friends.
Willie Storm came over from Marshfield Saturday and made a visit to his cousins in the Wm. Storm family here.
Ross Paulson is in the Dakotas on another horse buying trip. He expects to get home with a carload next Tuesday.
Miss Sadie Wegener is home since Saturday from her visit at Mankato, Minn.
Geo. Frazer went to Millston Friday to assume the duties of section foreman there for a period of two weeks.
Mrs. Dora Garbush came home last week from a month’s visit at the Clyde Campbell home in Duluth.
Miss Clara Hubing of Athens is visiting relatives here and old friends at Neillsville since last week Wednesday.
Mrs. Winter and daughter Tillie of McComb, Iowa, after a visit with the Wm. Bouske family, returned home on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hempe, their son Gerald and daughter Lucille, after a visit at the Otto Neitze’s, returned to Milwaukee on Saturday.
Mrs. Clemens Kuechenmeister, her mother, Mrs. Hantke, with little Marion Hantke and Mrs. Rob Kurth were called to La Crosse last week Wednesday to attend the funeral of a cousin, one Arthur Scheldach. They returned home on Saturday.
Mrs. Melvina Wright, after a several months visit in Michigan and Illinois, arrived home last Wednesday, since which time she has been a guest in the Rella Osgood home getting acquainted with her two-weeks old grandson, Frances Wright Osgood.
Mrs. H.C. Tiedeman and daughter Vivian of Thorp called on the Baers Saturday. Mrs. Tiedeman was one of Mrs. Baer’s girlhood friends and this was their first meeting in a score of years. Miss Vivian is teaching in the Aug. Teatz District. Mrs. Tiedeman returned to Thorp on Monday.
Miss Pauline Eschenberg came down from Duluth early last week and after a week’s visit with her parents over south, left on Monday for Winnipeg, Canada.
Clyde Shaw and family autoed here last week Thursday from their home at Cornelian Jct. and remained until Monday. Mrs. Hattie Beeckler accompanied them home.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lockner of Black River Falls, who were visiting the Dave Steele family, went home last week. Mr. Lockner returned here Monday and closed a contract with Dr. Ross, whereby he is to move here and tenant the Ross farm on and after October 18th.
Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Marsh, their son Joey and Mrs. Lane of Phillips autoed over from Marshfield Sunday and spent the day visiting Mrs. Melvina Wright, Mrs. Mary Marsh, Mr. and Mrs. T.D. Wage and others.
Mrs. R.A. Creviston of Humbird and Mrs. O.M. Hein of Minneapolis visited their sister, Mrs. Ernest Garbush and various friends hereabouts for several days last week. They returned to their respective home on Friday.
