Mr. and Mrs. J. Altenburg did shopping at Chili Saturday.
The Max Opelt family autoed to Dexterville and spent Sunday with the Allie Hoover’s.
School commenced in the Brooks District Sept. 1st with Miss Learnhart of Dodge County at the desk.
Mrs. R.T. Washburn attended the O.E.S. birthday party at Mrs. S.W. Davis’ last Friday.
Albert and Lyman Tremelling of Granton are visiting with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Altenburg.
Chas. Heckert and family returned to Appleton Saturday by auto after a two week visit at O.W. Becker’s. Elmer Becker returned with them for a week’s visit with relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Dankemyer and family autoed over from Fremont and spent Sunday with Miss anna Hankey.
Max Opelt and sons Arthur and Carl, and Joseph and Gilbert Sternitzky left Wednesday for St. Paul to attend the state fair.
Misses Gertrude and Ruby Martin left Tuesday for Clintonville to visit relatives and friends.
Henry Grassman of Marshfield spent Sunday with his parents at this place.
Miss Agnes Krause went to Pittsville Saturday to visit friends.
Mr. and Mrs. O.W. Becker are entertaining Mr. Becker’s brother and family from Chilton.
The misses Etta and Emma Altenburg spent Sunday afternoon at H.B. Holmes’ in Granton.
The Wm. Simpson and Wm. Muir families of Lindsey visited friends in this place Monday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. John Howard and Len Howard of Neillsville autoed over and visited with the John Martin family Sunday.
The ballgame between the Lynn team and Loyal ended in favor of Loyal.
A large number from here took in the fair at Marshfield last week.
