Potts, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd D. (Golden - 19 February 1964)
The family of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Potts, Sr., formerly of Gilman, held a reunion at the Huron Town Hall July 18, in honor of their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd D. Potts of Neillsville on their fiftieth anniversary.
They were married February 19, 1914, at Belle Plaine, Ia., where they farmed for six years. In 1920 they moved onto a farm 5½ miles south of Greenwood, where they farmed until 1944, when they moved to their present home in Neillsville.
A 2 o’clock dinner was served to 98 guests. A three-tier wedding cake was the centerpiece on one of three long tables which were decorated in gold and white and garden flowers.
Guests came from Gilman, Marshfield, Delafield, Greenwood, Neillsville, and Black River Falls, Wis.; Grand Forks, N. D.; Detroit, Mich.; Cheyenne, Wyo.; Aberdeen, Wash.; Los Angeles, Fresno, Las Bonas and Merced, Calif.
