Again we are all glad to be together at the schoolhouse about one hundred twenty eight in numbers.  Quite a few strange faces, both among the teachers and pupils.  What a nice beginning we had.  We are 10 seats short to seat all the pupils.  Also there is a shortage of books in most every grade.  The board has been very helpful in getting the new supply under way.  This week notes must necessarily be a little short as we are pretty busy getting started.  We hope to better maintain our place in the local paper this year.  A welcome greeting to all parents, and to those children who failed to make their appearance thus far.
