Mr. and Mrs. Roy Wright returned from Swift Current, Sask., where they have been spending the summer, last Saturday.

 

Miss Pearl Berg is attending high school at Neillsville.

 

Mrs. Scharf came home last week from Neillsville, but left the children with her father until they could more thoroughly fumigate the home after diphtheria.

 

Ernest Lee and wife called at E. Dennis’ Sunday evening.

 

School commenced Monday with Miss Maria Davis as our teacher.

 

Our school ma’ams are busy again, Elsie Johnson in the Wilke District, Adelma Nickel in the Roder District, and Annette Berg returned for another years at Geo. Wilding’s.

 

Neil Downer is busy filling silos.  He began with his father’s silo on Friday.

 

Robert Chapel visited his brother Leo Sunday afternoon.

 

Clarence Downer is working for Oscar Jahr and going to school.

 

Mrs. Elmer Dennis fell and painfully injured her knee one day last week.  Nellie Dorst is helping her… (the rest of my copy was cut off.)
