Roy Brooks was among those from here who attended the Minnesota State Fair at Minneapolis last week.
Miss Nygaard of Oshkosh is visiting at the Henry Sternitzky home this week.
Mrs. F.A. Downing left Tuesday for Atlanta, Wis.
Max Opelt will give a dance at the pavilion Saturday evening.
Mrs. Henry Riedel returned the fore part of the week from her visit at Oshkosh.
Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Chubb left on Monday for Milwaukee to attend the state fair.
Miss Agnes Krause visited friends in Pittsville last week.
Mrs. Holmes of Granton and Mrs. Hayon of Cleveland, Ohio, visited Mrs. Max Opelt last week. The latter was a former resident of this place twelve years ago. He husband was railroad agent in this place at that time.
Mrs. R.T. Washburn entertained the Granton O.E.S. Birthday Club Saturday afternoon.
Mrs. August Broker and daughter Nellie of Lindsey came up to attend the party at Mrs. R.T. Washburn’s Saturday afternoon.
Addie Breseman has returned from Marshfield.
Robert Forest of Stevens Point is visiting his sister, Mrs. W.C. Beecher, since Saturday.
Ed Ure and Miss Lillie Opelt and the R.T. Washburn family attended the For a Da Voss show at the Neillsville Opera House several nights last week.
