Northern Clark County (13 August 1964)

Mrs. Zawacki and daughters of Rockford, Ill., arrived July 30 in Thorp for a visit with relatives.  She was accompanied by Stanley Zawacki, who spent two weeks with relatives in Skokie, Chicago, and Rockford, Ill.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Spaeth and family have returned to Chicago after spending four weeks at the Herman Goettl home in Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. Bud Steele of Madison were recent guests at the Robert Blazel home in Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. William Benzschawel and family of Maple Lake, Minn., spent a few days recently with Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Benzschawel of Thorp.

Linda Wojcik of Rome, N. Y., was a guest recently at the W. E. Vanderhyden home in Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. George Polnaszek and family of Green Bay were guests a few days recently at the Tom Polnaszek home in Thorp.  They were enroute home after visiting relatives in Minnesota.

Mrs. Jim Kobylarczyk of Thorp visited recently in Detroit Lakes, Minn., and Fargo, N. D.

Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Wagner, former residents of Thorp, will be honored Sunday, August 16, on their (ink blotch) wedding anniversary, at an open house at a club in Eau Claire.
