Lampi, Marlene Fay (9 JUN 1962)

 

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of San Francisco, Calif. was the scene of the wedding held at 2:00 o’clock, June 9th, 1962, of the marriage of Miss Marlene Fay Lampi, daughter of Mrs. Fred Thess and the late Matthew Oliver Lampi of Owen, to Robert Arthur Roberts of the United States Navy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lea A. Roberts of Bristow, Okla.

 

The Rev. Arthur C. Nitz united them in marriage with a double ring ceremony.

 

The bride was given in marriage by a guardian, Mr. Henry Smart.  She wore a fingertip veil and crown.  Her gown was of nylon net over satin.  She wore a shoulder tip oval neckline with lace flowers and sequins trim, tight bodice and full length bell shaped gown.  She carried a bouquet of white carnations.

 

Miss Josephine Clemmer sang "Because, Savior Like a Shepherd Lead the, The Lord’s Prayer."

 

The bride’s maid of honor was Miss Lorna Renish.  She wore a pink dress with lace and carried a bouquet of pink carnations.

 

The bridesmaid was Miss Sharon Olson.  She wore a light blue dress and carried a bouquet of pink carnations.

 

The best man was Raynoldo G. Romero of the United States Navy.  Groomsman was Melvin La Ville Davis Jr. of the United States Navy.  Ushers were Richard Ortega and Charles Boise.

 

The reception was held at 4:00 o’clock in the church parlor where friends exchanged best wishes.  The couple is residing at San Francisco, Calif.
