The children and grandchildren of Don and Evelyn Schutte orchestrated a surprise party for the 60th wedding anniversary celebration of Don and Evelyn, who wee married Jan. 12, 1952. A noon luncheon was served at St. John’s Lutheran School in their honor Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012.

Timothy Biebert and wife, Linda, Neillsville; Mike and Sarah Schutte, La Crosse; Janet Cole, Strum; Charles and Nancy Costello, Neillsville; Joanne St. John and Ray Kittel, Wisconsin Rapids; Darryl and Nancy Schutte, Beloit; Marvin and Marie Schutte, Withee; Raymond Durst, Fairchild; Vivian Schutte, Neillsville; Eugene and Joy Schutte, White Bear lake, MN; Bob and Cathy Roskos, Hixton; Bill and Ruth Buettner and daughter, Faith, Pittsville; Dennis and Linda Schutte, Marshfield; Leone Scholze, Black River Falls; Rosemary Murphy, Greenwood; Ed Kurasz, Neillsville; Dianne Buettner and Wayne Oldham, Neillsville; Bernard and Joy Seig, Humbird; Paulette Simcox, Owatonna, MN; Robert and Jenny Schutte and sons, Ryan and Eric, Chippewa Falls; Rhoda Wood and Dustin and children, Angel, Alex and Andrew, Altoona; Rory Schutte and Dianne, Eau Claire; Jennie Stulo and son Noah and Mike Blau, Oshkosh; and Charles and Betty Lund, Black River Falls.
