Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Doughty of City Point were over Sunday visitors at Chas. Gall’s.

 

The dance in the town hall Saturday night was quite well attended.  Some of the young people from Granton were out.

 

Neva Gates returned Saturday from her visit at Berlin and Oshkosh.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Carlson from Veedum are visiting at A. Anderson’s.

 

Oscar Newman went to City Point to work on the cranberry marsh Sunday.

 

Dr. Beyer of Pittsville was out to see Albert Gail Sunday night.  He has been sick since Friday.

 

Ethel McCann went Monday to work for Walter Moldenhauer near Lynn.

 

School began Monday in the Gates district with Miss Wolpert of Neillsville as teacher.

 

A.A. Gates and Andrew Lawson are hauling hay home from the McGinnis farm.

 

Mrs. Harvey Hill and two daughters left last Wednesday for a week’s visit with Mrs. Hill’s sister at Stanley.

 

Robert Schreiber drove to Pittsville Tuesday after goods for the store.

Herbert and Jesse Sparks, who were here on a week’s visit with their parents, returned to Minnesota last Thursday.

 

Quite a number from here attended the fair at Pittsville last Saturday.

 

While G. Bender was helping B. Enfield put up a silo last Wednesday he fell from the barn and hurt himself quite badly.

 

Neva Gates came home from Oshkosh Saturday.

 

Miss Gertrude Walport is teaching school in the John Sparks District since Wednesday.

 

Florence Sparks is visiting Granton friends, Saturday.

 

Mrs. Harvey Hill and her 2 daughters returned on Tuesday from their visit with relatives in the northern part of the county.
