Miss Vivian Brooks began the fall term of school in District No. 2 Monday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Dan Way and Arvilla Learned of Minnesota are visiting relatives and friends in this vicinity.

 

Rev. Harris, the new M.E. minister, delivered a fine sermon Sunday afternoon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Davis of Iowa, after spending a few days with the former’s brother at Marshfield, came Saturday for a few days visit between the W.E. Benedict and Jesse Mortimer homes.

 

Mable Turner is working for Mrs. Myron Osgood near Granton.

 

Asa Pease is working for J. Vande Berg.

 

Roy Lawrence purchased a new silo filler at Neillsville one day last week.

 

John Vande Berg, wife and daughter Ruth and son Horace, and Fern Alton autoed over and spent Sunday at Wm. Gantworth’s at Chili.

 

Forest Rowe cut corn for Allie Turner last week.

 

Dan Timerson sawed wood for Joe McKimm last week.

 

Horace Vande Berg hauled a load of cheese to Loyal Monday for the York Center Cheese Factory.

 

E.G. Rowe kalsomined the schoolhouse in District No. 2 one day last week.
