Miss Etta Altenburg spent several days the fore part of the week with her sister Mrs. J. Tremelling at Foemmel’s Corners.

 

The H.B. Holmes family visited Thursday with Geo. Brooks, J. Altenburg and Max Opelt families.

 

Mrs. And Mrs. Geo. Minor of Mylo, N.D. arrived last Thursday on a visit with Mrs. Minor’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grassman.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Nitschke spent Sunday afternoon at Otto Neitzel’s.

 

Fred Bauer and family of Marshfield were callers at E.F. Brooks’ Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Montag of Chili visited the former’s mother the fore part of last week.  Mrs. Montag returned with them for a day’s visit.

 

Mrs. Joe Wiertz visited friends in Neillsville last week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Washburn and daughter Hazel spent Sunday with friends at Lindsey.

 

Max Opelt and family went to Dells Dam last Sunday.

 

Elmer Becker returned from his visit with relatives at Appleton.

 

Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Beecher of Granton spent Sunday with their son Wella and family of this place.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Breseman spent Sunday with the H. Krause’s of Star Corners.

 

Carl Voigt of Chili was a caller at this place last Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. J. Altenburg Sr. and granddaughter Lucille spent Sunday afternoon at the Nankivil home at East Lynn.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Sanger and family spent Sunday with A. Viergutz.

 

Mrs. August Gotter returned home Saturday after a three week visit at Random lake and Pottiers.

 

Dan Brooks and family were in the vicinity Sunday.

 

Mrs. Anderson of Progress was seen in this place last Monday.

 

The Wm. Simpson and H. House families were calling on friends in this place last Saturday evening.

 

School commenced Monday with Miss Arneson as teacher.

 

Mrs. Robert Mundt and children spent Sunday at John Speiser’s
