Kissinger, Philip (20 DEC 1894-19 MAR 1958)

 

Philip Kissinger, 85, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, of a heart ailment. He had been a patient there for 10 days.

 

He was born Dec. 20, 1872 in Clark County and lived there all his life. In 1894 he was married to Alma Davis in the town of Sherman. She died Dec. 17; 1956.

 

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Emily Genett of Marshfield, Mrs. Edward (Geneva) Tice of Rockford, Ill.,, and Mrs. Jack (Alberta) Teresenski of Oneida; by 24 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Three sons and one brother and four sisters preceded him in death.

 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Myre Funeral Home. Burial was in the Loyal Cemetery. The Rev. Wendell Bennetts officiated at the services.

Pallbearers were Alfred Gray, Franklin Rueth, Frank Schwanke, Dan Wolter, John Castner, and Art Luchi.  Mrs. Byron Zepplin was organist.
