Hansen, Rochelle Ann (Marriage - 15 August 1964)
Nuptial vows were exchanged Saturday in the Neillsville Methodist Church by Mrs. Rochelle Ann Hansen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mallory of Rt. 2 Granton, and Robert E. Tichy of Rt. 1 Greenwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Tichy of Lake Forest, Ill. The marriage ceremony was performed by the Rev. Oscar Nichols before an altar graced with bouquets of gladioli and zinnias.
Approaching the altar with her father, who gave her in marriage, the bride was attired in a floor length gown of angelskin peau styled with a fitted Basque bodice of Alencon lace, the scoop neckline of which was appliquéd with beads. A front panel of the skirt allowed matching Alencon lace appliqués to show. The full back skirt extended into a brush train with a material pouf at the waistline. A tiara of pearls and sequins held her bouffant veil of pale blue illusion. She carried a cascade bouquet of red roses and white swainsonia entwined with ivy.
Maid of honor was Miss Judith Mallory of Highland Park, Ill. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Raymond Wetzel of Neillsville and Miss Elvina Tichy of Lake Forest, Ill. They wore blue street length dresses styled with fitted bodices, scoop necklines, and dome-shaped skirts. Each attendant wore a matching pillbox hat with short face veil. They carried cascade bouquets of white pompons and pink sweetheart roses.
Bestman was Raymond Wetzel of Neillsville. Groomsmen were Ted Stiemke and William Coulthard. Ushers were Gene Romos and Chris Mallory.
The wedding day activities included a reception at the Legion Hall in Neillsville and dance in the evening.
The bride is a 1961 graduate of Gardiner High School in Gardiner, Mont. She has been employed by the National Park Service in Yellowstone National Park. Mr. Tichy is engaged in farming on Rt. 1 Greenwood, where they are residing. He is a 1955 graduate of Loyal High School.
