Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Brown, Jr., and two children of Lake Forest, Ill., were weekend guests at the Otto Schmidtke home in the Town of York.
A miscellaneous shower was held recently in York honoring Miss June Crockett, who is to be married in September to Robert Schmidt.
The Royal Neighbor Lodge of Loyal recently held their annual picnic supper on the lawn at the R. K. Stevens home in Loyal. Following a business meeting, held in the Community room of the Loyal Bank, a social hour was held.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Loos and daughter, Mrs. Art Becker and Mr. and Mrs. John Loos all of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Clemens Loos of Marshfield attended funeral services in Chicago for their sister-in-law, Mrs. Jerome Loos.
Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Wallace of West Lima were guests several days recently at the William Essex home in Loyal.
Mr. and Mrs. Irban Aumann and three sons of Milwaukee have returned to Milwaukee after spending their vacation at the Henry Aumann and George Bentzler homes in Loyal.
Mr. and Mrs. Herb Fenner of Loyal visited recently with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Sossaman, in Abbotsford, where the Sossamans have purchased a house.
Mrs. R. K. Stevens of Loyal is visiting at the homes of her grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Rodelle Scheel and Mr. and Mrs. James Stevens.
