Northern Clark County (27 August 1964)

Mr. and Mrs. Roger Boardman and family of Monticello, Wash., recently spent a day at the John Hickman home in Thorp.

Mrs. Chester Johnson of Thorp visited two days recently with her sister, Mrs. Floyd C. Holstein and family, in Stevens Point.

Sue Benzschawel has returned to Thorp from Lake Forest, Ill., where she had been employed during the summer.

Joe and Jane Trahan of Washington, D. C., have been spending two weeks with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jacques of Thorp.

Mrs. Frances Clark has returned to Minneapolis, Minn., after spending several days at the Jack Borowick home in Thorp.  While there she attended the Lewan-Tuzinski wedding.

Mr. and Mrs. Les Rosecrans of Thorp recently spent several days with Capt. George Boice in Wayzata, Minn.

Recent guests at the W. J. Grabon and Mrs. Bauernfeind home in Thorp were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ioccino of Chicago, Ill., Sister M. Asella, Sister M. Maxamine and Sister M. Hermalla of Milwaukee, and Sister M. Gisella of Luxemburg. They also visited Sister M. Florence of Ladysmith.

Mrs. John Sommers and daughter of Port Angeles, Wash., and Mrs. Claude Porter of Berkeley, Cal., recently spent a week with Mrs. Porter’s brother, Frank Stigen, and his family in Thorp.  This was her first visit back to Wisconsin in 42 years.

Mr. and Mrs.  Bill Hiltunen of Negaunee, Mich., spent a weekend at the W. S. Wagner home in Thorp.  Mrs. Florence Walsdorf of Bradenton, Fla., who has been visiting relatives in Thorp, accompanied the Hiltunens to Michigan for a visit.
