Jolivette, Lee A. (Retirement - 31 JUL 1962)
Northern States Power Co. has announced the retirement of Lee A. Jolivette, electric distribution heavy crew foreman of NSP’s Owen District, effective July 31, 1962. He retired following more than 39 years of utility service.
Jolivette began his utility career in 1923 with the former Midland Public Service Co., which later became part of NSP. His initial assignment was that of maintenance man at Abbotsford. In 1925 he was made a construction department lineman and assumed his present position in 1930.
Jolivette is a veteran of World War I and a member and past master of the Greenwood Lodge 240 F & AM. He and his wife, Florence, reside in Greenwood. They have three children: Mrs. Donald Shawn, Loyal; Rev. Norbert Jolivette, pastor of the Wallingford, Iowa Lutheran Church, Barton Jolivette, ground man with NSP’s Neillsville line crew, and Raymond Ackerman, Flint, Mich.
