  Farnsworth, Minnie #2 (12 Oct. 1878 - 05 May. 1959)

Mrs. Minnie Farnsworth, 80, died at the Bethel Convalescent Home at Arpin at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 5 of old age complications.  She had been at the Bethel Home since November 1958.  Funeral services will be in the Loyal Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Friday.  Burial will be in the Loyal Cemetery.  The Rev. Alfred Attwood will officiate at the services.

The body will lie in state at the Myre Funeral Home until noontime on Friday when it will be taken to the church.

Mrs. Farnsworth, the former Minnie Wobig, was born at Fox Lake, Oct. 12, 1878.  She was married to William Farnsworth at Fox Lake, April 29, 1902.

They lived in the Fox Lake area until 1919 when they moved to a farm in the Veefkind territory.  Mr. Farnsworth died Dec. 25, 1946.  In 1957 Mrs. Farnsworth went to live with her son Erwin at Veefkind.

She was a member of the Loyal Methodist Church, also a charter member of Fremont grange.

She is survived by one son, Erwin Farnsworth of Veefkind and one daughter, Mrs. August (Myrtle) Mueller of Waverly, Iowa.  Two sisters, Mrs. Mary Maas of Randolph and Mrs. Ida Fisher of Fox Lake, and one brother, Gust Wobig of Fox Lake also survive her, as do 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
