Mr. Haltaufderheide is working for Rush Wentworth since early last week.
Mrs. Gerzemehle tried to give a surprise party on Mrs. Geo. Frei last Saturday evening, but Mrs. Frei got wise and found it out so it will have to be tried over again.
Miss Altenburg of Lynn assisted her sister with the threshers the first of last week.
Amelia Krause spent Wednesday night of last week with her ma.
Mrs. Corey and children and Mrs. Effie Davis spent Friday of last week with Mrs. John Breese.
Jennie Ackerman is attending the Neillsville High School.
Mr. Russell of Humbird and Mr. Luethe of Neillsville spent several hours here putting Truman Davis’ corn binder in running order.
Mrs. Rella Osgood was quite sick with a cold several days last week. P.J. Kemmeter and family and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Frei spent Sunday at Geo. Frei’s.
Mrs. Gerzemehle and Mrs. Ackerman helped Mrs. Geo. Frei last Friday husking corn.
Louis Krause helped Mrs. Foemmel the past two weeks.
