Mrs. A.G. Anderson spent from Monday until Wednesday of this week at Carlson’s of Veedum.
Mrs. Wm. Heath of Park Falls, who has been visiting her uncle Pete Peterson, returned home last week.
Miss Rose Rinehart is working a few days for Mrs. R.C. Schreiber.
R.S. Schreiber went to Pittsville after a load of flour on Monday.
Quite a few in the neighborhood have their silos filled.
Chas. Newman and Elmer Krentz are filling silos in the neighborhood.
Albert Gall, who has been on the sick list, is able to be about and attend to work again.
Edith Sparks went to Granton to work.
Christ Feutz, the cheese maker has a brother helping him make cheese.
Quite a few from here are on the cranberry marsh at City Point.
Ellery Messing, John Sparks and Dave Hill came home from the cranberry marsh Saturday to attend to their work at home.
Jim Fields went Tuesday to work on the state road in Wood Co.
Jule Ziemendorf is having a new home built. Gib Bender is doing the carpenter work.
Say boys you need not get your cow bells ready for Johnnie Eggen as he has invited everyone out to a big dance in the town hall Wednesday, Oct. 1st. Good for you Johnnie.
Miss Maudy Machel of Shortville visited at Jacob Jacobson’s Sunday.
Mr. A. Mongoli has got him a new silo. He will put it up this week.
