About 19 of the neighbors dropped in and gave Mrs. Edna Lawrence a pleasant surprise Friday, it being her birthday.  She received some nice presents.  All reported a good time.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dean and daughter Minnie from Carvallis, Ore. came Friday for a visit with old neighbors in this vicinity.

 

Wm. Gantworth, wife and son Henry made an over Sunday stay at John Vande Berg’s.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Allie Turner delivered quite a few onions to different parties between here and Loyal on Monday.

 

Maple Leaf Camp No. 2820 entertained the Royal Neighbors of Neillsville Thursday.  Dinner was served and all reported a good time.

 

Pearl Pease assisted Mrs. Edna Lawrence with her household duties a couple of days last week.

 

 

Mable Turner is spending a few days at home.

 

Roy Lawrence filled Dr. Ross’ silo Tuesday.

 

Mrs. Dean and Minnie and Edna Lawrence spent Monday at Roy Lawrence’s and Abram Vande Berg’s.
