Family night was held September 6 in York Center Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Doering of Loyal showing a film.
Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Bartsch and sons of York Center have returned from a motor trip to the Black Hills in South Dakota.
Recent weekend guests at the Nile Benedict home in York were Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Condon of Menomonee Falls, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Benedict and family of Lomira.
The Trinity Lutheran Church of Loyal observed their mission festival on September 13.
Guests of the Rev. Paul Miller of Loyal over the holiday weekend were his two daughters, Mrs. Duane Nobel of Long Prairie, Minn., and Mrs. Alan Larson of Wautoma, and their families.
Mr. and Mrs. Garland Bentzler and son, Mr. and Mrs. George Bentzler and Christ Bentzler of Loyal, visited recently with Louis Schweinger, a patient in River Pines Sanitarium, in Stevens Point.
Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Fenner and daughter of Trenton, Mich.,, have arrived in Loyal for a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fenner. They will also visit her relatives in Unity.
David F. Barr, a former Greenwood resident now living in Acampo, Cal., is a hospital patient in a Lodi, Cal., hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. William Kavanaugh and son of Greenwood were in Gary, Ind., September 5, where they attended the wedding of a niece.
