Greenwood (24 September 1964)

 

Trudy Hill, 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Truman Hill, represented Greenwood High School on the Fashion Show program in Eau Claire Tuesday evening. She was accompanied there by her parents, her sister, Judy, Sheila Hempel and Avis Moberg.

 

Brand new reflector lights are reported to have been stolen from the driveway at the farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kitzhaber, while they attended church services Sunday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Rhode showed pictures of their trip to Hawaii, with a talk by Mr. Rohde, at the meeting of the adult Fellowship Sunday evening in Zion United Church.  Members of the adult Fellowship of Immanuel United Church, who were guests were welcomed by the president, Bernard Nowobielski. The Rev. Orval Egbert led in devotions. Refreshments were served. The next meeting will be held October 18.  Hosts will be Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Olson and Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Wessel.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Adams of Neillsville were Sunday guests at the home of their son, Wilbert, and his family. Kenneth Syth of Kenosha was a weekend guest there.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kitzhaber and family of Mosinee were Sunday dinner guests at the Greg Rogillio home and supper guests at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kitzhaber.

 

Sunday guests at the home of Mrs. Jake Speich were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Speich of Eau Claire and Mrs. Emma Gerlach of Neillsville.  Sunday afternoon Mrs. Speich and daughter, Violet, and their guests visited at the James Metcalf home.

 

Miss Carol Severson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Severson, and Miss Patricia Susa, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Susa, Jr., returned to Milwaukee Sunday night, after a weekend visit here.

 

Mrs. Hazel Stoneburg of Portland, Ore., was a guest Thursday at the home of Mrs. Carl Stabnow.

 

Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Schuman spent a few days with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. George Poppe, and other relatives.  The Schumans, who spent the summer in Watertown, S. D., were enroute to their home at Lake Alfred, Fla.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Krultz and daughter, Lori, returned to Willard Sunday after a visit in Iola with her sister, Mrs. Robert Crase and family.  While there they attended a double birthday party, held in honor of the two sons of the Robert Crases, Rodney who was six years-old on September 19 and Bradley whose 10th birthday occurred September 21.
