Handke, Laura Lee Louise (Marriage - 12 September 1964)

Laura Lee Louise Handke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Handke of rural Granton, and Robert D. Zank, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Zank of Neillsville, were married September 12 in a double ring ceremony at Zion Lutheran Church in Granton. The Rev. F. C. Benecke officiated.  Nuptial music was furnished by Connie Montgomery and Sandrea Kurth.

Miss Sandrea Kurth of Granton was the maid-of-honor.  Bridesmaids were Mrs. Alice Kangas, Sandra Kangas, Rosalee Handke, Barbara Shaw and Joan Buddinger.  Miniature bride was Cheryl Lee Handke, and ringbearer was Peter Bartsch.

The groom’s attendants were Elmer Handke, Jr., Kenneth Kangas, Wayne Zank, Buster Handke, Ronald Shaw and William Buddinger.  Ushers were Charles Kohel and Larry Schumacher.

Mr. and Mrs. Zank are residing at 1215 Bruley Street in Neillsville.
