Star Corner (15 September 1911)
Robert Gotter was a pleasant caller at Philip Breseman’s Sunday evening.
Mr. Voigt and wife passed through here with their new auto Saturday.
Mrs. Robert Washburn and daughter Hazel spent Sunday very pleasantly with Mrs. F. Preston.
Mrs. Richard Anding returned to her home at Altoona Saturday after a couple weeks stay with relatives here. Her father Philip Breseman accompanied her as far as Neillsville.
A new check pump has been purchased for the Star factory.
Mrs. Fred Hankey and children spent Sunday at Ernest Keuer’s.
Julia and Oscar Bentz were business callers at Lynn Tuesday.
Miss Kleinschmidt spent Saturday and Sunday with her parents.
Rob Washburn and Frank Preston are not loosing any time making use of their license during chicken season.
Chas Bass is kept busy nursing a couple carbuncles.
Mr. Ernst Nitschke left Tuesday for Minnesota to attend a wedding of some relatives. He expects to be gone about two weeks.
Threshing is the order of the day in this vicinity.
