Heines, Eda (? - 7 September 1911)
Last week Thursday there passed away at the St. Joseph Hospital at Marshfield, Mrs. Eda Heines, the wife of Fred Heines of the Town of Fremont. The deceased had been sick with typhoid fever. As she had only a short time before been operated on for appendicitis which had left her in not very strong condition; she succumbed to the sickness.
Her remains were brought to Chili to the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. August Prust. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon. A great number of relatives, friends and neighbors attended, showing their sympathy to the bereaved husband and children. A Marshfield minister held the funeral services, a mixed choir rendering a few appropriate songs. Fred Heines, a girl and a boy, Mr. and Mrs. August Prust, 5 brothers and 4 sisters are left to mourn the loss of wife, mother, daughter and sister.
