Tomczak, Pvt. Gerald D. (Military Notes - 1964)
Pvt. Gerald D. Tomczak, son of Micheal S. Tomczak of Route 1, Thorp, completed a field communication crewman course October 1, at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. He was trained in wire laying, message center and switchboard operation. Tomczak, 22, entered the army in May, 1964. He was graduated from Thorp High School in 1961 and was engaged in farming before entering the army.
