Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and family and her mother, Mrs. Hilda Thoma, drove to Cedarburg early Sunday morning to visit relatives. They returned that evening.
Mrs. Hedwig Schoenherr entertained a group of relatives Friday afternoon and another group Friday evening in honor of her sister, Mrs. Edwina Pemberton of Portland, Ore., who came several weeks ago to attend the 50th anniversary of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Klueckmann in Eau Claire. She started her return trip Sunday afternoon from Minneapolis by plane.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma entertained their card club Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bell and daughters and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Hoffmann of Neillsville, spent the weekend of October 3 with relatives in St. Paul, Minn. They were supper guests of Miss Louise Scheel, Saturday overnight guests of Misses Helene and Petra Kalsow, and visited Mr. and Mrs. George Koerner and family. They attended church services at Trinity Lutheran Church in Belle Plain, where Rev. Robert Schlicht is the pastor. They were dinner guests of Rev. and Mrs. Schlicht and family, returning home Sunday evening.
Frank Thoma, Martin Kalsow, Bill Lueck, Teddy Kuester and Wilmer Kroll went on a fishing trip Wednesday morning to Chetek, returning Thursday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and family and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Henchen and family visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thoma.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and family and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and family spent Wednesday evening with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux. Louis showed some slides of their trip to Maine.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Klueckmann of Eau Claire were recent overnight guests of his sister, Mrs. Hedwig Schoenherr.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kalsow spent Monday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and family.
Eugene Schoenherr of Granton spent Thursday and Friday at the Wilbur Hagen home.
Mrs. Raymond Kalsow returned Friday evening from the hospital. Her husband called for her on his way home from Milwaukee.
