Schlinsog, LeOra Karlene (Marriage - 24 October 1964)
The Missionary Alliance Church in Marshfield was the scene Saturday of the wedding of LeOra Karlene Schlinsog of Eau Claire, daughter of Mr. and Mr. Harold Schlinsog of Rt. 1 Granton, and Anton Bezlyk, Jr. of Eau Claire, son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Bezlyk, Sr., of Rt. 1 Granton. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Daniel Hanke of the Veefkind Community Church. The altar was graced with baskets of orchids, white chrysanthemums and green palm trees.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, entered the church wearing a floor length gown of peau de soie with Chantilly lace. Pearls and sequins formed a sweetheart neckline. The full, bouffant skirt was accented in the front with lace motifs and completed in the back by ruffles of peau de soie, edged with lace, and extending into a chapel train. She carried a bridal bouquet of red roses.
Miss Karen Schlinsog served as maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Mrs. Steve Schlinsog. They wore street length dresses of green lace over taffeta, with matching crowns and accessories.
Alex Polazkowyj of Granton was best man. Groomsman was Steve Schlinsog of Granton. Ushers were Samuel Hanke of Spencer and Michael Kuzjak of Neillsville.
Chrysanthemums and candles decorated the tables for the wedding reception, held in a Marshfield hotel.
The bride is a graduate of the vocational school in Eau Claire and is employed in office work. The groom is attending Eau Claire State University and is an orderly in an Eau Claire hospital. They will reside in Eau Claire.
Relatives attending the wedding were from Chicago, Ill.; Milwaukee, Thorp, Medford, Spencer, Neillsville, Loyal, Marshfield, Granton and Colby.
