Wachsmuth, Helen (7 FEB 1898 - 6 JAN 1963)
Mrs. Helen Wachsmuth, 64, route 2, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), died at 7:40 a.m. Sunday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where she had been a patient for four days.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at Curtiss. The Rev. Roger Tellock will officiate and burial will be made in Riverside Cemetery in Withee.
Friends may call at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon and evening.
The former Helen Emmerick was born Feb. 7, 1898 in Hamburg, and was married Feb. 22, 1918, at Merrill, to Carl Wachsmuth, who died in 1954. She had lived at her present home for the past 12 years. Mrs. Wachsmuth was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at Curtiss.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Welden, Vincent, Ind.; Mrs. Will (Donna) Hoglen, Chicago, and Mrs. Roy (Karen) Frane, Owen; four sons, Victor, Merrill; Dr. Wallace Wachsmuth, and Leonard Wachsmuth, Wausau, and Gerald Wachsmuth, Owen, and 10 grandchildren.
