White, Minnie (30 AUG 1913 - 31 DEC 1962)
Final rites for Mrs. Paul White Sr., nee Minnie Fahrenbach, were conducted from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home, Owen, Monday. The services were held for the former Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.0 resident who passed away following complications following surgery in California, at 2:00. Rev. Roger Tellock of Curtiss read the service with burial being made at Pin Hill Cemetery, north of Curtiss.
Pallbearers were Armin Peterson, Lester Bowen, Frederick Laabs, Wilfred Marcott, Willard Geary and ray Kobs.
During the service Miss Bunee Kraut sang "Sweet Hour of Prayer" and "Beyond the Sunset."
Mrs. White death occurred following surgery at Ventura General Hospital, Ventura, Calif., on the 31st of Dec, 1962, coming as a severe shock to her immediate family and relatives.
She was born Aug. 30, 1913 at Stetsonville, Wis. She received her early schooling in Curtiss and was graduated from high school at Abbotsford, and then enrolled at Taylor County Normal at Medford.
In 1944 she was united in marriage to Paul White Sr., a serviceman, in a ceremony performed in South Carolina. Her husband had made the military service his career, with the family moving from one base to another. However, for the past two and one-half years they have resided at 1776 Fair Ave. Santa Susana, Calif.
Her untimely passing is mourned by her husband and two sons, Paul Jr. and William, her mother, Mrs. William (Mary) Fahrenbach, Curtiss; five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Wredman and Mrs. Harvey (Irene) Witt, Curtiss, Mrs. Orville (Lillian) Leeders, Abbotsford, Mrs. Eldred (Evelyn) Schraufnagel, Tomah, and Mrs. Walter (Bernice) Fiessner, St. Paul, Minn.; two brothers, William of Abbotsford and Herbert of Curtiss. One brother, Elroy, and her father preceded her in death.
Out of town people who attended the service included Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hinrichs, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hinrichs, Mr. and Mrs. Miss Carol Hinrichs, James Hinrichs, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Nelson, Mrs. Emma Crans, Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. John Smith, Daniel Smith, Mrs. Richard Smith, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fusweir, St. Paul, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Schraufnagel, Tomah; Frank Schroeder, Mrs. Viola Sill, and Mrs. Ed Schroeder, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Dunow, Land O’ Lakes, Wis.; Mr. and Mrs. Chester Fahrenbach, Medford; Mr. and Mrs. Art Steiner, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. William Fahrenbach, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Lieders Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Orville Lieders Jr., Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Guy Stewart, Thorp, and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Zender, Stevens Point, Wis.
