Schmidt, Marian L. (Marriage - 24 October 1964)
Mrs. Marian L. Schmidt and Louis E. Worchel were married at the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Globe on Saturday, October 24, at 2:30 p.m. by the Rev. David Witte.
The bride is the former Marian Polus, daughter of Amanda Polus of Fairchild, and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Worchel of Rt. 3 Neillsville.
For her wedding the bride wore a two-piece royal blue suit with a shoulder corsage of red roses.
Honor attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Worchel of Evanston, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schmidt of Mayville.
The matron-of-honor and bridesmaid wore royal blue dresses with shoulder corsages similar to the bride’s.
A wedding reception was held in the church basement following the ceremony.
The couple will reside at the groom’s farm on Rt. 3.
