Did you hear about it?  What is it?  A Halloween party, Friday evening Oct. 31 from 8 to 10:30 at the Granton Schoolhouse.  Who is invited?  Everybody!  Are you going? Surely.  What are they going to do?  I don’t just know, but, I understand it has been in the planning for three weeks.  Are they going to have some music? So I heard.  Something to eat? Oh don’t ask too many questions, just come and have you r future told for five cents and all other question will be answered.

The school rooms are looking up much better this week, as most all those who had the measles are back to school.

This week we are going to put down our new floor for the manual training or work room.  The working material for this room will be here this week.  The plan from the state department is that each pupil in the seventh and eighth grades make some useful article during the year.  The girls of the seventh and eighth grades will have one hour of sewing each week.  This class will be supervised by Miss Brooks.
