Two more of Grant’s worth young people were united in the holy bonds of matrimony this Thursday afternoon, Oct. 23, 1913, before a large assemblage of relatives and friends at the Maple Works German Lutheran Church when at 2:30 o’clock Rev. M. hasz pronounced the sacred words which joined in marriage Miss Margaret Hillert and Mr. Willie Worchel.  The bridal couple was attended by Miss Amelia Hiller and Arnold Worchel and by Miss Anna Mallig and Richard Hillert.

The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. Gottlieb Hillert.  She was educated here in our schools and since her mother’s death several years ago has materially assisted in the care and responsibility of her father’s home and through this experience gained a knowledge which is of "inestimable" worth to her in the position which she is henceforth to assume.

The groom, both of whose parents are dead, is an industrious, honest, highly respected and competent young farmer of good morals and habits, well qualified to care for the worthy bride he has courted and won.  This happy young couple enter upon the brightest of prospects and amidst the congratulations and best wishes of their host of friends, with whom the News sincerely joins.
