Anklam, Lillian (8 APR 1944)
Married - Miss Lillian Anklam, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Anklam, Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), but until recently residents near Humbird (Clark Co., Wis.), and Lester Buttke of Cleveland (Jackson Co., Wis.), were married Saturday, April 8th, 1944, at 12:30 p.m. at the Lutheran Parsonage in Neillsville by the pastor, Rev. Bauman. Their attendants were the bride’s brother, Walter Anklam, and Miss Elaine Bremer of Fairchild. The bride is a talented young lady of pleasing personality, and the groom is an industrious young farmer, well worthy of the bride he has won. They have commenced housekeeping on the groom’s farm in Cleveland, where, in partnership with A.C. Trask of B.R. Falls, he will specialize in raising turkeys. They already have 3,000 baby poults and as soon as these are out of the brooder house, they plan on 3,000 more. A wedding dance was held at the town hall in Humbird Wednesday evening. A large crowd of well wishers attended.
