Senior Class Play

 

On Friday evening of next week, April 28, the annual senior class of the Humbird High School, will be presented at the town hall, at 8:15 o’clock.

 

The plot of the play, which is entitled: "Oh Doctor!" centers ‘round a village small store, presumably Humbird, with the following cast of characters:

 

Peter Bunn, the storekeeper and an old-fashioned doctor - by Karl Johnson

Phil Bradley, the new-fashioned doctor - by Joe Sainsbury

Jim Davis, a bachelor who is a little shy with women - by Gerald Giloy

Sheep Kennedy, a regular boy of early teens - by Jim Gort

Ebenezer Bradley, a shrewd man of middle age - by Neil Durst

Anne Morris, a girl of about 20, who takes over the store - Muriel Harris

Jane Morris, her old maid aunt - by Joyce Hardwick

Miss Snoops, the village gossip - by Jean Flynn

Mrs. Kennedy, a widowed mother with ten children - by Esther Laffe

Maude Kennedy, her daughter - by Janice Matti

Lois, her adopted child - by Minnie Hedding

Ruth Adams, a rather pretty girl, of the flashy type - Jeanette Pflieger

Mrs. Lemmon, a romantic widow of the late twenties - by Reta Walker

Mrs. Hammond, president of the Women’s Civic Improvement Society - by Edna Fitzmaurice

 

Be sure not to miss "Oh, Doctor!"  Admission for students is 25 cents and adults are 40 cents, including tax.
