Wm. Neinas is making good progress with the building of his house. On Monday evening he had almost all the roof boards on. He wants to have it finished before Christmas.
Mr. Allen returned from his vacation Friday and commenced work again Saturday.
Mr. Sample from Merrillan returned Saturday on the 4:40 p.m.
Mrs. Hogenson returned Saturday from her visit with her sister Mable Walter, with whom she has been staying a few weeks.
Anton Ebben loaded two cars with furniture, wood and other goods, and shipped them to his new home near Little Chute on Monday afternoon.
Gust Bahr of Augusta was here on business on Monday.
Frank hemp and family of Neillsville took in the dedication of the Lutheran Church Sunday and stayed until Monday with the Degener’s.
Mr. and Mrs. Alec. Cattanach are at Edgar visiting their daughter since last week Wednesday.
Mrs. Tom Gibson and son Roy, and Mrs. Clark Waterman spent one day last week at the E.A. Beeckler home.
Mr. C.C. Maack was an over Sunday guest at Albert Degener’s.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Davis called on friends in this vicinity Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Henning attended a wedding at Stratford last week.
Fred Selk had the misfortune to lose a valuable colt last week. It was cut on the wire fence and was beyond help when found.
Mrs. Miller and children arrived here Tuesday for a visit under the parental roof.
